January 2009

I decided to start a preschool blog after searching for new and different ideas for my class. I teach 3 year olds at a local Baptist Church. My class is totally different from the other classes. We are happy, loud, enthusiastic group of 10 students and ME! I try very hard to make learning fun.

This is our January project . . .

Since it almost NEVER snows in Alabama, my students don't get the opportunity to have a snowball fight or build a snowman. We had the best time wadding up old newspapers and having a snowball battle with the other classes. Then we picked up all the newspaper and crammed them into white garbage sacks. Decorating them was easy and fun with scraps of construction paper. The scarf was an old one my Mother-in-law gave to me (shhhh please don't tell her).

  1. I was brought here to your first post from the blog hop at Lots of Fun with my Family. I plan on starting a preschool blog soon to focus solely on the preschool activities I do at school. I really like what I have seen here on your blog.
